Naming series - Current value

Hi,

I am trying to update Current Value for Sales Invoice Naming Series. From Update series form its updated, but its not affect in the Sales Invoice. Its not getting updated value.
And again go back to the updated value for naming series it will become 0.

Can anyone help this?
