Naming Series in custom doctype

Continuing the discussion from Rename tool does not work for new created doctype:

It will appear in the doctype, not a customize form.

yes rename appear in doctype not in customize form for custom doctype

If custom doctype then you can add the naming rule in doctype, if default then we are not suggesting to edit or customize the doctype but if you want then you can do it.

in custom doctype the naming rule worked in customize form not in edit doctype itself
