Naming Series in Patient Doctype

I want to enter naming series manually in Patient doctype . How it can be done in healthcare ERP.

  1. Go to the Patient list view and click on “New” to create a new patient record.
  2. In the new patient record form, locate the “Naming Series” field. By default, this field is set to “PAT-”. You can manually edit this field to enter the desired naming series.
  3. After entering the naming series, save the patient record. The system will automatically generate the patient ID based on the naming series and the next available number in the series.

Note that if you want to change the naming series for existing patient records, you will need to update the “naming_series” field for each patient record using the Data Import tool. You can export the patient data, update the naming_series field in the CSV file, and then re-import the updated data to the system.
