Naming series is not working for my in my Route Card DocType

Hello,

I have created a DocType called Route Card.

In this I have defined a field called Route Card Num. I want this field to be a series of number.

Below is the screen shot.

In Auto Naming I have set the field name as below:

But when I Save and Submit the Route Card the series number stays blank. It should actually get auto numbered.

What mistake am I making here?

Hi there, you have to  set naming series of particular doctype. Series can be defined as Card-.#### that create series Card-.0001.

The naming series field HAS to be called “naming_series”.
