Naming Series missing from menu, no corresponding doctype

After multiple installs, I now have V14.1.0 operational and I’m working through building the system.

On a previous install, Home > Settings > Naming Series was accessible, but not on the current install -

  • Naming series is nowhere on any of the menu or shortcuts

  • Naming series is not found using the magic serach

The naming series however is present, as the default series create various ID codes

Is there a dependency to access naming series?

Could my install be incomplete?

I’m contemplating an update. Any recommendations to do this securely so there is no data loss?

Assistance would be appreciated.

Hi there,

I believe the tool is called “Naming Settings” in v14. Does that turn up anything?
