Naming Series Should autoincrement

Dear Community,
I create custom feild name as Department in Delivery Note, Based on Department series should change.
Now series comes like
24-YY; IN- Country Code; ABC- Department.
DN24INABC001
DN24INDEF001
DN24INGHI001

but i need like,
DN24INABC001
DN24INDEF002
DN24INGHI003
i need series should come continuous even it has different department.

Thanks for your response but Based on department the series coming from 001 but i need it continuos even though it has different department also i place only in naming_series only
