Need Help: Salary/Payroll Module

Hello Everyone,

I request everyone to help me in this with your experience and suggestions.
I want to create salary slips as well as salary on the basis of CTC only.

I have added attendance for a employee and added holiday list as well. I also added the CTC, but didnt added the basic pay, other etc.
So is it possible to calculate salary based on ctc and attendance ?

Please guide me how can i do that.

2 Things you can Do and add a formula in the Salary Structure

Use Base Field of Salary Structure Assignment and Add CTC there or Add a custom field in salary slip CTC fetch from Employee Doctype

  1. In the salary Structure Add an earning component Statistical with formula ctc field or base field / 12 for 1 month

  2. and a second earning component based on the statistical component depends on payment days

Instead of โ€œbaseโ€, add the formula ctc / 12 in the formula field.

Thanks Im creating a new salary component in which i added the formula, but in the abbr shall i type base again ?

An abbr is a shortened form of the salary component name, so you donโ€™t need to type โ€œbaseโ€ in it.
