Need to Convert Stock Item to Non-Stock After Use in Transactions

i have an item which it was mistakenly “maintain stock” ticked and already use in creation of over 1k quotations and sales orders and when unchecked the “maintain stock” an error prompted that cant be unchecked because of the linked documents with it, what should i do to resolve this in erpnext basis

The best option is to disable that item and create a new item code.

If no stock entry records, 0 stock balance, you can use frappe.db.set_value() via system console to change.

i used the second option from @szufisher but i came to look to bin folder i found some of the items were stored their kindly help me on how to remove this message
