After the update, I’m getting the following error:
Session Expired
“Your session has expired due to inactivity. Please log in again to continue.”
Could you please let me know if this is a bug or an expected behavior after the update?
Yes, usually after the update the site logs out all users.
I am using frappe v15, and i always have to login again after a site update
Try refreshing the page using ‘F5’, it should automatically redirect you to the login page
I’ve split this to a separate thread. Troubleshooting every install in the main announcement would get messy.

I have noticed this after updates as well. If it always happens after a site change, it seems more like the existing sessions are being invalidated, rather than an inactivity timeout.
You have to log everyone back in after every update, which is not usually a problem, but can be a little disruptive if you have a lot of active users.” Would be good to know if this is usual behavior for the particular version or something that can be avoided with the update procedure.
Site updates don’t invalidate the sessions, so this seems unrelated.
While developing, we migrate and build our sites so many times, but we never have to login again.
After running bench migrate it asks me to log in again. Isn’t that how frappe is designed to work? I thought this was the expected behavior
