Hi,
We have ERPNext configured with Item Naming by Naming Series.
When I create a new item I have to fill in the Item Code as a mandatory field.
But I don’t see the field afterwards anymore.
Not that I need it, because I have the automatic naming series.
But why does it still require me to fill in the information?
Also when I fill in the item code via quick form, without entering an Item Name, I get a different result then when I fill in the item via the Full page.
Result:
I checked the Database and the Item code is getting overwritten with the naming series anyway.
So for me it is possible to find a way around it, but still it is very confusing.
