Since we changed the UI, we thought it might be a good idea to change the erpnext.com website too. So we made a minimalist site and add some colour too. The idea was to look “different” from a typical software site. We re-wrote some of the home page text too.
We should be able to replicate it at our end. So please give us as much information as you can. Please see it from the point of view of the person receiving the communication.

Apple, Sony, Ford, L'Oreal, Kraft Foods don't use ERPNext. But more than a hundred small and medium businesses like you are active users of ERPNext.
This copy may be an accurate description of current users, but it no way helps sell the product. I don't think it helps achieve the goal of marketing ERPnext. Suggest re-writing this verbiage.
Also, suggest switching the sub-headline with the headline. Your selling point (what the target needs) should be the headline, and the sub-headline supports the headline. Something likeL

I think it looks great. I especially liked the emphasis on manufacturing given most erp's don't offer this. Also big thumbs up for the pricing comparison!

I think it helps being opinionated and different. The objective is to project ERPNext as an honest / transparent brand and this is something we already are. Our entire source is open + we share the inner workings of our org on Open Day. Some people may actually find the honesty refreshing.

We gave a lot of thought to the headline too. I think most of traffic that comes to ERPNext.com (our assumption) is that of people who
1. Already understand what is an ERP
2. Are looking for alternatives.
3. Want something that is simple, clear and modern (not the bloatware you are used to in ERPs)
I think the title captures that.
But will keep your feedback in mind and maybe in few weeks make a few changes... (I don't think we have enough traffic to do A/B testing!)
best,
Rushabh

Thanks Sonal. Yeah manufacturing features are quite rare in ERPs of this size / scope. I think we need to expand this further with case studies (coming soon).
