No checkbox in item for "sync to woocommerce"

I read all posts regarding syncing items with woocommerce and I wonder:
Where to find the “sync to woocommerce” checkbox in item view?

When I create an order in woocommerce, an item is created based on the new order. However, I cannot sync items before an order is placed. Also syncing items from ERPNext → Woocommerce is not possible at all.

Am I missing something?
