Office 365 oAuth problems with shared mailboxes

What is the process of adding shared mailbox. I found the guide on Microsoft 365 here on forum and on website. Its working for regular inboxes, great job explaining that. But shared mailboxes give me errors even if using principal strategy.

oauthlib.oauth2.rfc6749.errors.InvalidClientError: (invalid_client) xxxx: The client application ed58baf7-7562-4740-afda-fb3580135e06 is missing service principal in the tenant xxx-xxxx-xxx. See instructions here: Create an enterprise application from a multitenant application - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn Trace ID: xxxxxx Correlation ID: xxxxxxxxTimestamp: 2025-12-02 05:26:38Z

Did you check the box “use alternative ID”?

In Frappe email account the connected user and alternative ID must be the same licensed user having access to the shared mailbox. This user must perform the oauth web authentication.
