One Item in Two (or more) Categories

Hi

Was wondering if one item being in two or more categories is possible or is going to be made possible in the future.

Multiple grouping is quite essential sometimes for example if you have 2 groups for shirts checked and striped and a further 3 groups called long, 3 quarter and half sleeves then a checked shirt can also belong to any of the other 3 groups as can the striped and you cannot put this grouping in a tree as then either checked & striped will come thrice under each of long, 3 quarter and half sleeves or long, 3 quarter and half sleeves will come twice under checked and striped.

These do not apply to variants of the same product but apply to completely different products of different styles just falling under both categories.

We are somewhat stuck due to the requirement for multiple categories.

Also apart from the above when you make products variants possible will you allow BOM variants to go with that?

Thanks & regards,
Sonal

we added fields to sort this issue so not urgent any more

Thanks.
