I checked /home/frappe/frappe-bench/apps/frappe, this directory exist.

Did you execute the command from the frappe-bench directory?

Thanks it works now.

Cannot proceed with update: You have local changes in app "frappe" that are not committed.

Here are your choices:

1. Merge the frappe app manually with "git pull" / "git pull --rebase" and fix conflicts.
1. Temporarily remove your changes with "git stash" or discard them completely
with "bench update --reset" or for individual repositries "git reset --hard"
2. If your changes are helpful for others, send in a pull request via GitHub and
wait for them to be merged in the core.

What did I do wrong if I don’t have ./apps/frappe?

frappe app is not installed correctly.
retry the install frappe-bench once again.

Thanks

I’m reinstalling but when I enter “bench init frappe-bench && cd frappe-bench” it runs for a little and seems to have stopped at the line “INFO:bench.utils:frappe-bench/env/bin/pip install -q -e frappe-bench/apps/frappe --no-cache-dir” Am I supposed to let it do it’s thing or has it hanged?

It’s ok. Nevermind. I think I just needed to be patient. It looked like it was not doing anything for around 20 mins. But it suddenly started to continue again.
