Overtime calculation for more than 200 employees

Good morning, I have been making use of the ERPNext human resources module and I find myself with a difficulty in calculating overtime, I have reviewed some post where they use the employee registry but it is not yet clear how it is interwoven with the payroll, Are they changes that one has to customize or are they already in the ERPNext process?
