After upgrading to V16 the role permission for select is broken.
Steps to reproduce:
- Assign a role (e.g
Manufacturing User) select only permission on Employee doctype

Login as user having only the select permission
-
Select Employee in the actual time log in the job card
Expected: List of employee to select from
Actual: Permission error
You do not have permission to access field: Employee.status

No, I don’t have a workflow, I can’t give read permission either, Employee doctype has sensitive information.
