Can Frappe/ERPNext be used as mail service where each used can received and send email using his personal account, just as replacement of their persomal Yahoo, Google, Rediffmail sites?

It depends on what you’re asking. Frappe is not an email service. It can connect to an email service as a client, but it does not function without a pre-existing email account.

Oh, wow, that’s ambitious. Hosting your own email service sounds like a nightmare, but to each their own!

Self-hosting Frappe Mail is best suited for businesses or individuals with high email volume (e.g., sending around 100,000 emails per day) or or for those prioritizing security by storing emails on their own servers. If your email volume is substantial, hosting your own Frappe Mail server provides better control and scalability.
To be honest, and after a lot of years of kungfu fighting with on-premise mail servers, I thought that Frappe people got crazy with this … (well … ) . But it makes a lot of sense with the proper infrastructure and thinking about offer this as a service.
