Please let me know the step by step procedure for restoration of backup

Hello

I had a previous version of ERPNext installed on my local server. Today morning due to HDD hardware failure my server was not booting. I installed CentOS 6.4 & all prerequisites on another server. I have a ERPNext folder backup & latest database backup with me. I copied ERPNext folder at the same location & restored MYSQL database with old username & password. But I am unable to run ERPNext. While accessing it I am getting following error in the browser.

ERPNext: Upgrading...

We will be back in a few moments.

Please let me know the step by step procedure for restoration of backup.

Warm Regards,

Prasad

Hi

The error indicates that the patches are being executed. Let the patching get completed and it should start working.

Thanks,

Hi Prasad,

How did you restore the database?

Did you use lib/wnf.py —install DB_NAME SQL_FILE?
