Point of sale (POS) customer cases / pain points/ strengths?

Hi All,

So a couple of questions regarding the ERPNext’s POS module:

  • Do we have any customer cases of ERPNext that are using the POS? Specifically in the Retail industry?

  • What are the pain points / challenges faced by partners integrating the POS module?

  • What are the strength points noted for the same?

Actually I’m using it for Clothing Retail

And the biggest challenge is the use of “multiple payments options”
When the options are different currency

For example a Customer pays 25USD
Using local currency plus USD

Also the inability to work offline is a challenge

The UI is also strange, maybe it need to be to be a separate frappe App
Something like ERPNEXT POS

Using frappe-ui
Same as HRMS or Raven

We can enable PWA and extend it
