Can someone help me to customize our POS profile; we use ERPNext POS profile for van sales.
Payment mode; I want to add ‘credit’ option as well.
When i select a customer i want a field where the customer credit balance is displayed.
i want allow partial payments (cash and credit)
i want to let the salesman to make ‘credit back’ from the POS profile (when customer make the full or partial payment of his credit balance displayed on the screen).
please help

I think @Riyas_Rawther can be of assistance. He has mentioned that his company uses ERPNext for van sales. Taken liberty of copying him.

Ahh… This is where I differ with you. In my case, retail sales take place off the back of a mobile truck. Inventory is loaded onto the truck every morning to restock it like a mini rolling store.
If something ends up on the truck that was not tracked when loading the truck, then I want the sale of the item to be denied. I need to stop the transaction at that moment and force a manager to find out how we got to this situation in the first place.

I already have this working.
I have the drivers use ERPNext on a laptop mounted to a rolling cart in hte warehouse. They are responsible for loading their trucks from the warehouse using the laptop carts. We have 3 carts for this since we only have 3 dock locations at the main warehouse for trucks to back into we are covered in case all dock positions are full. The laptops also have barcode scanners attached to make the stock transfer more accurate.
