Hi all, I am an end user and we have been using ERPNext for the last year or so for B2B sales. We are looking to use erpnext for our POS next and want to get some feedback. We already have a partner who we will use for this and honestly they have been great.
But I know everyone’s use case is different and it’s hard to know what the limitations on the default POS is and if anyone has experience with the apps that are currently available? In particular if anyone has implemented it into a supermarket/fast moving retail scenario. My preference of course is using the integrated/default POS, but if there’s a lot to gain from the existing apps then we would want to look at them also. I can see on github there’s a fair few open requests for improvements and it would also be great to know if V16 has any changes to this?
Can the default POS handle multi-buy offers/discounts, sales of products by weight, multi-currency (I assume not for this one as I can’t find it in documentation) etc?
I am aware this is a bit of an open ended question, and the partner I am working with I trust to help us find the solution, but I am just interested in real world feedback on implementations in this use case (retail/grocery/supermarket style).
