Pos invoice, can we ignore to select the customer?

when I create a pos invoice, it needs to select the customer first, if not then will show me this message
Please specify Customer. It is needed to fetch Item Details.

my use case is customizing POS for restaurants/bars, the most customers just walk in

The typical way to handle this would be to create a customer called “Cash Customer” (or similar) and then set that customer as default. Would that work for your needs?
