Prevent users editting their own user record

Hi all,

Quite new to ERPNext and we are really enjoying configuring it.

We want to have quite strong security and I find that my users can see their own user record, update their details and even rename their account. I don’t think this is correct.

Using Role Permissions I have removed access to all other users but I cannot prevent them seeing and updating their own record via “My Settings”

How can I do this please?

@DaveStevens You can apply Role permissions on the roles of the users / employees in your company and provide only Read access to them. Refer screenshot:
