Pricing Rule on Customer Currency

For some reason my pricing rules do not match the customer currency.

Despite selecting the customer to which the pricing rule applies to, when creating the sales order, the pricing rule is created using company currency rather than customer currency.

Is there a setting I am missing?

Is the issue that you expecting the rates to be converted? I am not sure how this works - but if not then the rates should ideally be converted.

The way I understood your price lists is that for a customer whose currency is USD and I have a pricing in the Item set as 1.00, this should appear in the sales order as 1.00 USD. If the customer has CNY this should appear as 1.00 CNY.

Do I misunderstand it?

Currently price defined in Pricing Rule is in company currency. When it fetched in the transaction, it is converted to customer's currency.
Let's say, your company currency is INR and you have a Customer whose default currency is USD. When you create a pricing rule for that customer, price is always in INR. And when it fetched in Sales Order, the price is converted based on exchange rate (INR to USD).
