Is there a way to print the item name and the item description in separate columns in the items table on the Quotation/Sales Invoice print formats? Currently name and description are shown in the same column.
sure, just create your custom print format…

this is my current items table column configuration:
But at the outcome the item name is shown in the description column
Try Print Format instead of using Print Format Builder -
Setup > Printing > Print Format
Write script in HTML block
welll i did better do it with custom print format…the builder makes it as one…
Have anyone idea how to do this without creating custom html table?
I was uncheck “Print hide” in Quotation Item doctype, but it is not working 
If I have empty description I don’t have item name column at all.
