Problem on Depend ON condition syntax

When I customize the field Rate in form sales order item. I don’t want user who was in Stock Operator role to see its value. So I added the condition in depend on option like this.

Not sure where is the issue. Of course, it won’t work.
Please help.

You can use field level permissions to configure this. Here is an article explaining just that
