Nice Update, with more and more apps moving to portal view and using the app switcher instead of the desk view, I wonder how will cross app notification be implemented for users who need to switch back and forth between multiple apps several times a day. Do you plan on having a global notification bar on the top?

For now, there are no plans to add global updates. You will have to switch to individual apps to get notified.
