Guys, one question, please.
Current setup:
Main Warehouse
Work in Progress Warehouse
Finished Goods Warehouse
When creating a production plan, I am allowed to mind the available stock, meaning it is not ignored. With this, stock available is not required to be transferred from Main to Work in Progress warehouse.
That works fine if I create the material request from the production plan. Then the Material Request is created for the items needed only, than the Stock Entry created from this material request would be for the items needed only.
However, later when in the Work Order step, and clicking on Start, it will not mind the available stock. It will always attempt to transfer the totality per BOM, even if already available in Work in Progress.
Also, it does not care if I already have a submitted Stock Entry from the Material Request from the Production Plan. It forces creating a new Stock Entry and does not allow minding the available stock. Effectively duplicating the Stock Entry if one was done already via the Production Plan-Material Request route.
My goal is to create a consolidated material transfer with the information from the production plan (several sales orders or several items), and then process the work orders minding what is already in work in progress warehouse, not selecting manually what is and what is not needed to be transferred when submitting the Material Transfer for Manufacture Stock Entry.
Can this be achieved?
Or which would be the most streamlined (no manual selection) erpnext standard workflow for this?
