Productivity loss due to auto-refresh of list view/datatable in v11

Updated to v11.1.6 production recently.
A small but “very irritating” issue being raised by all users is that when we go back to a list after viewing a doctype it refreshes and resets all filters.

For example-
I filter sales invoices for a customer for a date in a list view.
To check a invoice I click and go to the invoice,

Now on hitting the back button it reloads all filters and doesn’t even save the scroll location.
This is causing loss of productivity among all.
Is this expected behavior?

I have similar issue when navigating general ledger and journal entries. The Account chosen get reset when we go back from a Journal entry to General ledger
