Purchase Invoice - item rate not changing

Hi,
I’m trying to change value (Rate) of a item in Purchase Invoice but once i click on save it returns back to the same amount.
Please help.

There are a few options for this type of situation:

  • If the “Maintain Same Rate Throughout the Purchase Cycle” option is enabled in the buying settings.
  • If any pricing rule is applied.

Hi, @NCP

As i can there is no option enabled for maintain samre rate.

2nd- No pricing rule has been set yet.

I went to Item price list, and there i saw many items have their price set already, how it happend ?
I tried to set the item price of a item to 0 and then it was working for that item only.

No i want to manually enter the price everytime like earlier, this problem came few days back

then you can delete all the item prices

Am not sure but let me put some of my ideas

go to stock setting and disable “Auto Insert Item Price If Missing”,
go to selling setting and enable
“Allow User to Edit Price List Rate in Transactions”,
go to buying setting and enable “Disable Last Purchase Rate”

give a try it may bypass your issue.

Thanks i guess it’s working i also deleted the price list.
