Purchase Order Date not able to change date once saved

In purchase order doctype once i select a date in the required by field and i saved that.
But later when i try to change that date into a future one and try to save that it is not getting changed.

          			self.schedule_date = min(
          				d.schedule_date for d in self.get("items") if d.schedule_date is not None

If smaller date in table then picked first.
