Query on Payroll period and Income Tax Calculation

Dear Experts,

I am writing to seek your expertise regarding an issue we are facing with our payroll in ERPNEXT.

Our monthly pay cycle follows a period from the 24th to the 23rd of each month, and we have set the Payroll Period as 24th March 2023 to 23rd March 2024. Additionally, we have created a tax slab effective from 24th March 2023. However, we have encountered problems with the accurate calculation of cumulative gross salary and income tax. It seems that the calculations are not correct as expected.

We would greatly appreciate it if someone could kindly advise us on whether ERPNEXT supports such a payroll period and income tax calculation, or if it is not currently feasible in the system.

You will need to add more information for someone to get interested and spend time investigating your problem.

“It seems that the calculations are not correct as expected”. → Explain with numbers and the exact problem. Even for someone to setup a debug env for you and find the problem itself is a time consuming task.
