Question about stock price

this is my screenshot , I have already set standard selling price

but in item price it is still blank
why does this happened ?
what does the standard selling price acctually mean in pic.1
is there any solution to let these two blank synchronize or it is too complicated.

While creating item record, if you mentioned price it will create a price list record.
