Rare Case: Field Update Not Persisting to Database

Sometimes, when I update a field value — in my case, the start time in Shift Type — it doesn’t get updated. After saving, the old value reappears and seems to be saved in the database. However, when I update ERPNext, the issue gets automatically resolved.

What’s the culprit? and how to solve it?

slow internet connection? try to reload page by clearing cache and see if same issue persists.
