Company Name: Mehta Herbs and Spices
First Used Erpnext: Sept 2012
Current State of Implementation: (Trial Phase/ Production Phase): Still
implementing
Modules being Used: (Accounts/Buying/Selling/*
Stock*. Next in line is manufacturing
Current Operation Mode: SaaS
Previous System being Used: Tally
Other systems tried but not used in production stage (only if you
have tried a lot of softwares like me ) OpenERP, OpenBravo, Wings
Detailed Analysis (if you have time about each module)
Number of users: 1
Accounts: Very good control and check flow. My accountant really liked
the save submit feature. A nice point is any voucher that gets
modified has a trail.
Stock: Very easy to use and gives good control over inventory which
was one of the features we were looking at while choosing the product.
We are still in our implementation phase but everyday we find features
that help us improve our business. We are really excited about using
all the modules in a comprehensive manner.
Again interesting to see that a lot of users have evaluated OpenERP / OpenBravo before selecting ERPNext - makes even more sense for us to align our marketing strategy (or whatever remains under it) on those lines.
