Re-order and auto re-order not working

Hi,
I have been trying to use the re-order function for quite some time and i am not getting any notifications.Could you please help with the following?

  • Is the re-order level based on individual items or only the warehouse?
  • How do I configure the system to send notifications or raise material requests as soon as the re-order level is reached?
    i.e, i can only set the re-order level for the warehouse and not individual items that are in the warehouse.

You can also have Material Request auto created when stock level of an item reaches reorder level.

Hi Umair,
I have done the same and yet I don’t get a notification
when my stock falls below re-order level.

For instance,the first item in list has a stock of 280 currently as seen in
the screen shot.

  1. I set the re-order level to 200 and re-order quantity to 400.

  2. I created a sales order of 100 for this item

  3. Saved and submitted the sales order. this is the only notification that
    I get.

  4. I tried making a sales invoice. Even then I have no notifications.

  5. I set the stock settings as advised in the help page.

  6. I tried making a delivery and this is the notification i get.

  7. the stock balance reduced by 100 but I did not get the notification for
    a material request.

Request you to please advice on the same. I am logged in as an
administrator.

What is your deployment like? Is your scheduler running?

Even i have The Same Issue … i dont get Any Notifications and Material Request is Not raised Auotmatically .
One Doubt .,
What Happens When A material Request Is Raised ? Does It automatically Send A Emial To Deafult supplier ? Or All Suppliers?

New material request is created. If you want, you can setup an email alert on material request.

This has also happened me the same. i have activated material and warehouse for re-order level automation as given in the manual. but even after waiting one day. there is no email alert or automatic material request generation.

Kindly help me where i can see the MR generated due to re-order level automation.

  1. how to check whether it’s running (ideally from inside the browser interface)?
  2. how do you get the “scheduler” running if it doesn’t.
