Reference in addresses is not populated porperly

As already discribed in the GitHub issue (Reference in addresses is not loaded / populated porperly · Issue #43840 · frappe/erpnext · GitHub):
We have a problem with the latest verison of ERPNext on our own up to date Ubuntu Server which causes some serious problems: The “Reference” field in the addresses is shown and when we create new addresses (e.g. from a customer form), the references is not added automatically (and cannot be added manually as well).

Sometimes, but not everytime, opening one specific address and clicking “…” → “Reload” brings back the Reference table.

I’ve heard of other people having the same issue. Anybody experience the same problem?

Any idea how to solve this?

The cause of the error has been found: a missconfigured geolocation field was causing trouble, preventing the page from loading the references properly. I don’t know if this already counts as a bug.
