Regarding Version of Python

We are using python 2.7 so if we will switch from 2.x to 3.x what things we have to do.
And one more thing the information that is already stored in my erpnext python’s 2.7 version will be deleted ?

That means if migrating from 2.7 to 3.x my previous information will be affected or not?
