Relationship between Batch and Seriaized item

Hi, I want to identify the products I deliver to which batch they belong. Then I use the serial number.

But then I realize that batch and serial number are unrelated.

When products are entered the batch and serial numbers are created automatically, but then for example you can take out a serialized product that does not identify which batch it belongs to, so it is deducted from any batch.

Is there something I’m misunderstanding?

Yeah, they are not linked for now. Perhaps we can have a Batch ID field in the Serial No, master. Would you like to contribute this change? Or add a Github Issue for it?

Hi @federico_calvo, Batch no. and Serial no. have been linked now on the develop branch.
