Remiders for events

… should exist. But I am only seeing one reminder available (send reminder email in the morning).

How can you set up additional, freely-defined reminders (3 days in advance, 4 hrs in advance, …etc) reminders?

@vrms You can take help of Email Alert facility of erpnext. For that follow this link

Or if you have little complex usecase then you can create schedule emails via scripting just like birhday reminders are coded in hr module.
