When import a list of departments, system will create a suffix (company abbreviation).
How can I prevent the creation of the suffix, without customisation/development?
I don’t think that is possible. Even if you do through a custom script you may have issues when updating the site.
We make sure suffix is set to max 2 characters when the wizard is run for the first time.
What purpose does the suffix serve? It happens even when creating a single new deparatement.
