we are using erpnext for our company
we have customized our sales invoice by types 1 credit sales invoice and 2 cash sales invoice
so on the report part of sales register we want to add one column that will select based on type of sales
so that will enable us to see our cash sales total amount and credit sales total amount also
if we dont select both it will enable us to show both vash and credit sales sum or total amount

Hello,

Columns in Sales Register report are added based on Accounts/ledgers used in Sales Invoice.

You should create two accounting ledgers in Direct Income group in Chart of Account. One for cash sales, and another for credit sales. You should select these income account in Sales Invoice based on sale type (cash/pos sale or credit sale).

After you make couple of cash and credit invoices, check Sales Register report. You shall see two different columns for each income account.
