Request for item links fails "No permissions for BOM Website Item"

Selecting “Links” from any stock item’s menu fails with the following message:

Not permitted
BOM Website Item is not a valid parent DocType for BOM Website Item
No permission for BOM Website Item

I tried to add user permission to doc type “BOM Website Item” and this was blocked even for administrator.

Frappe Frame work v15.55.2 (HEAD)
ERPNext v15.51.1 (HEAD)

Hosted on Frappe.Cloud private bench

This was a bug and has been resolved in the latest Ver. 15 release.
