Restore from ERPnext Virtual Machine to Ubuntu new installation

Hello,

I have been using the virtual machine of ERPnext since July 2014, I downloaded it from erpnext.com website. I have a lot of data in the system by now, and I want to have it now on a local Ubuntu installation.

I installed ERPnext on Ubuntu successfully using the easy install script. I backed up the databases and files from VM, and tried to restore it on local machine, I got errors that site1.local databse already exist, so I used -f at the end of the restore command which ended up in an error (I think because my VM database name and username is erpnext), and now I get “Internal Server Error” when I go to localhost.

Can you explain the steps of restoring the configuration from a erpnext VM to a local install please.

Regards,
Ahmed
