Row Level security for records in HR

Hi Guys, I am using HR v14 and I am noticing that An Employee can see the list of all Employees, All Salary Slips etc., Ideally the tool should allow the user see only their data. Is anyone facing similiar issue?

Hi,

Please map the user with employee in HR–> Employee and tick the create User permission as follows:

With this setup employees can only access their own records.

Ideally, if a user having “Employee self Service” role shouldn’t see

  1. User List
  2. Employee List
  3. Salary list…
    etc.
    unless otherwise specified. Else we are opening up all sensitive data for everyone

Hi,

Please take one step as I mentioned above or alternatively you can define the User Permission as follows to apply row level security.

To create User Permision go to Users → User Permission and create permission as follows:

For Value: select the Employee ID of concern user.
