Salary Component Formula's

Hi Good Day, can someone guide me to right direction i am starting to study the HR procedure and i am a little bit confused on how does formula work. since i am using excel for my formula’s.

I am trying to achieve the following:

I want to auto calculate my hourly rate, daily rate, overtime pay and all my deduction and earnings on salary structure how can i achieve this using the condition and formula on erpnext?

You will have to create timesheets to record the overtime and then run payroll for the same. Check the following link to know how to configure the same in ERPNext:
