How do you indicate an amount for Leaves Without Pay and Absents?

Is there also a way that the salary can be deducted automatically when employee has absents in his attendance record?

Finally, why doesn’t ErpNext have a feature for calculating salaries on hourly basis and how can i achieve something similar to that?

@Patience_George You have to do some custom scripting to fetch leave without pay days on change of employee or month of salary and for deduction of salary you can tick “Depends on Leave Without Pay” checkbox in salary structure of that employee. “Depends on Leave Without Pay” checkbox will be in earning and deduction child tables.
