I'm just wondering for the following scenario, what will happen:
If a customer put in an order of 100 Product A, but we can only fulfill 50 of Product A.
What happens to the order? Will it displays how many have been fulfilled and how many needs to be produced more?
What happens if the same customer orders more Product A in the future? Will it shows how many in total of Product A need to be produced to fulfill this customer orders?
Thanks, Andri

You should create Sales Order for 100 qty. You can check your inventory status from "Stock Projected Qty" report, which says how many you have in stock, how many ordered, how many already planned to manufacture etc.
You can deliver the order partially, system will show the order as pending. If the customer orders more, you should make separate Sales Order. And you can easily see total qty to produce in total from report.

Yes. You can find this in reports and even in the SO itself.

Yes. You can run reports as Nabin said. You can also set an SO to "STOP" status if it has already expired. In your expired, if the first order has expired or lapsed, you can stop it so it no longer appears in your outstanding order reports.
