I have experienced problem with my regular users. The sales tax template is gone after my regular sales users use ERPnext for a while. They can not add any sales tax to any order while sales tax was automatically added previously. As admin, however, I create sales order and convert to invoice without any problem. And it is very annoying. I had to delete users and recreated them from time to time. We have been using the same installation locally since January. It seems that after a few weeks, the sales tax template disappears on regular sales users.
Open Sales Taxes and Charges Template and Check Is Default
